Chaw Hsien Ying, also known as Hsieying is an artist based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Growing up in a small oil town in Brunei. She comes from a family that worked with plants for over 30 years. With her mother as its herald, her passion for plants greatly inspires her paintings.

She first learned how to draw during high school, which led her to major in Digital Animation in Malaysia. She then started learning how to handle watercolors in 2013 and worked her way up to new mediums like Gouache and Acrylics.

Hsieying creates awe-inspiring depictions that transcend reality using gouache and acrylic paints' vivid colors and intricate textures. Her surreal concepts blend elements of nature with a wild imagination, producing a breathtaking world that captures the essence of her vision with each brushstroke. Hsieying pours her heart and soul into every piece, leaving a memorable impression on the viewer and cementing her legacy as a true artistic visionary.
